Please Read The Following Below Before Booking Your Hair Appointment

Clarity Call (Consultation Required): A 30 minute hair consultation with a $25 fee is required before booking an appointment to ensure the selected service is suitable for your hair type, condition, and desired outcome. During this call, we’ll assess your hair’s health, discuss your goals, and determine the best hair style options for you. The braiding hair and braiding gel are provided by me. We will discuss what hair product and braiding hair best suit you. This helps guarantee a smooth appointment experience and the best possible results.

Hair Extensions + hair products used: I work with a variety of braiding hair brands, including “RastAfri,” “Slayyy,” “Model Model,” “Sensationnel,'“ etc. I do not provide human hair extensions. If you have a preferred brand or specific type of braiding hair or gel you'd like to use, we will discuss those details during your consultation call.

Hair Length Requirement: For micro braid services, you must have a minimum of at least 3 inches of hair all around your head. This allows for secure, consistent braiding and helps ensure long-lasting results. If you're currently growing your hair from a short cut, please let me know during your consultation call. We’ll assess your hair’s condition and determine if micro braids are suitable at this time.

Tension-Free Install: My braiding technique is gentle, precise, and tailored to accommodate any sensitive areas on your scalp. Every install is done with a tension-free approach, ensuring comfort while prioritizing long-term hair and scalp health. You can expect beautiful results without unnecessary discomfort, tension or pain on your scalp.

Time Commitment: Micro/ small braids are a highly detailed and time intensive hair style. Depending on the length of the braids, appointments may take a longer than the approximate time stated. Please plan accordingly and be patient, respectful and accommodating throughout the process.

Pricing: The prices reflect the time, skill, and precision required to complete each braid style. Some of my braid styles are a highly labor intensive service that demand patience, focus, and care. This is tedious, intricate work, and every effort is made to ensure your braids are beautiful, long-lasting, and truly worth the investment.

Booking Policy: A partial non-refundable deposit fee is required to book. Deposit amounts vary based on service provided. Your remaining balance is due after your service is complete.

No-Show & Cancellation Policy: Due to the time commitment required, your deposit is non-refundable. Please provide at least 48 hours notice for any changes or cancellations.

Hair Appointment Expectations: To ensure a smooth, safe, and respectful experience for both of us, please review the following.

  • A Safe & Respectful Environment: The space must be free of drama, inappropriate behavior, & drugs/alcohol

  • Health & Safety: If you are sick or have been exposed to illness, please reschedule your appointment.

  • Clean Hair: Please make sure your hair is clean, dry, and detangled for a smooth install process

  • Respect Personal Boundaries: I work closely with your hair & scalp for extended hours, please be respectful and appropriate of personal space and hygiene during the session.

  • Timeliness: Please be prepared to start on time to ensure we can complete your style without rushing. Starting out late will impact the process, beyond a certain grace period we will have to reschedule the appointment. A 15-minute grace period is honored for all hair appointment start times. Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes late may require rescheduling or cancellation.

Photo & Video Content Consent:

By booking a service with me, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Photos and/or videos may be taken during or after your appointment to showcase the braiding process and final results.

  • Content may be used for marketing purposes, including social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), website galleries, and promotional materials.

  • Your face will never be shown without your consent. Please let me know at the start of your appointment. if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded or only have the back of your head shown,

  • All content created is the property of ‘Magdaline’s Micros’ and may be edited or shared at my discretion for promotional use.
